BH Cosmetics Forever Glam & Forever Nude Palettes!

I recently purchased the BH Cosmetics Forever Glam and Forever Nude palettes and wanted to share some swatches with you! Currently the Glam palette is $8.95 and the Nude palette is $10.95, not sure why they are different prices. Each palette comes with 6 eye colors, 2 cheek colors, 1 highlighter and 2 lip colors. Both palettes are plastic and have pretty designs on the front, they feel very sturdy and come with a full size mirror. The Glam is focused more toward a smokey look and the nude is focused more toward a natural look.

BH Cosmetics says:

Forever Glam- Make a seductive statement with this timeless collection of bold and glamorous color! The Forever Glam Eyeshadow, Blush and Lip Color Palette features 6 deluxe size eyeshadows in shimmer, satin and iridescent finishes along with 2 silky blushes and 2 creamy shades of lip color. Create endless looks that are ravishingly sexy and fun by mixing and matching these pumped up shades of GLAM!

Forever Nude- Enchant them all with this timeless collection of sweet and tempting neutrals. The Forever Nude Eyeshadow, Blush and Lip Color Palette features 6 deluxe size eyeshadows in shimmer, satin and matte finishes along with 2 silky blushes and 2 creamy shades of lip color. Create endless looks that are sinfully soft and sexy by mixing and matching these glowing shades of NUDE!

                                       Forever Nude

As always I didn't use primer under these swatches. You can tell the Glam palette has more pigmented shades. I really like both of these palettes!

My Vanity Set Up And How You Can Get It To!

I wanted to do a post showing my vanity set up. Mine isn't as extravagant as some but it also didn't cost me an arm and a leg! Mostly everything can be purchased at a Lowe's or Home Depot. The first thing you need to do is find out how big you want your set up to be.

Things You Will Need:
-A Mirror (mine is a frameless and I got it at Lowes)
-Mirror Mount Hardware (at least one for the bottom of the mirror)
-Plastic Mirror Clips
-2 Vanity Light bars
-Daylight Bulbs

The bulbs were probably the most expensive thing. I'm sure there are some cheaper ones out there but I checked Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot and didn't find any as bright as these. My husband helped me install everything and he has some experience doing electrician work so he was able to wire a switch for the lights and install an outlet near the vanity as well. Please use caution when doing this, you need at least 2 people. The mirror was very heavy and large it took both of us to install it. The table you see in the picture was purchased at a habitat re-store for $25! I love it, it has so much space. The green shelf was purchased at a store we used to have near me called oops. The palettes that are sitting out on the table are stored on an acrylic plate display from target. The acrylic drawers are from Muji, one is the acylic 5 drawer large and the other is the large 2 drawer. The dresser in the other picture is where I store the rest of my makeup, it was purchased at a flea market and my husband and I painted it and replaced the knobs. I am kinda going for like a grey and white theme I guess lol. I am happy with the way it turned out, I always wanted things from Ikea but there isn't one near me and shipping is $300 for something that costs $119. I wasn't going to do that, maybe one day I'll make a trip up to an Ikea but for now this works just fine!

Coastal Scents Concealer Pots!

The Coastal Scents Concealer Pots are $1.99 on the website normally but are on sale right now for just 99 cents each! I picked up the whole set recently and wanted to share some swatches with you!
These are the same size as the eyeshadow hot pots and fit any of the empty magnetic cases that Coastal Scents offers. They come in 10 different shades and are numbered 1-10. These are very creamy and have buildable coverage.

Coastal Scents says: Get glowing, flawless skin and disguise your blemishes with any of the 10 creamy, pigmented concealer pots! Personalize your own concealer collection in any of the go pod, 4, 12, or 28 interchangeable magnetic palettes. Effortlessly blend your favorite creamy concealers to a smooth perfection for natural looking coverage. What’s great about this, is that you can customize the empty palettes with both the recyclable concealer and shadow pot colors to best suit you.

Lets take a look shall we? First of all the packaging on these babies is top of the line! I mean first you have the outer package then you have a saran wrap package inside that and THEN you have a little plastic lid on top. Whew! Coastal Scents has an amazing reputation when it comes to packaging and shipping. I mean not only do they do a fantastic job with wrapping things and making sure they are secure, but they also go the extra mile with cute tissue paper, stickers and little decorative baggies. LOVE Coastal Scents!

Coastal Scents Haul!

I recently got a pretty large haul from Coastal Scents....Oh what a happy girl I was when I saw that box had arrived!
Here is what I got!

I picked up about 5 of the new palettes with clear lids to replace my old hot pot palettes. I really like the new ones. I also picked up the elite brush set, concealer pot set, 10 blush palette, blush too palette, and sleek silhouette palette.

e.l.f Essential Smudge Pots

The e.l.f Essential Smudge Pots are $3.00 each on the website and come in 9 different shades. All of these shades do contain shimmer in them. The lasting power with these is AMAZING! I was pretty skeptical at first but WOW! With or without primer they still stay all day and these make great bases. I literally had to scrub the swatches off my arm for like two minutes with a soapy washcloth. These apply very smooth and are very creamy but once they set, they're set!

e.l.f says:
This smooth gel formula glides on perfectly. Use it as a long-lasting eyeshadow or eyeliner! Enriched with Vitamin E to nourish and hydrate the delicate eye area. Dip a brush into the pot and apply along the lash line for rich eyeliner color. Use a brush or your finger and apply to the eyelid and buff out for vibrant eyeshadow color.

Obviously you're probably going to get better results applying these with your finger instead of a brush. Let's look at the colors shall we?

I would say definitely give a few of these a try! You may end up buying them all!
