Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette!

It didn't take long for Coastal Scents to put out a 2nd edition to their Revealed palette. I absolutely loved the first one and if you are interested I have a blog post on it here. As always Coastal Scents packaged up my item in the cutest packaging and the free sample I received was a little quad that contains 4 shades for the first revealed palette.

Like the first Revealed palette this one is wonderful! So pigmented, even the mattes are impressive and swatching was a breeze. This palette costs $20 on the Coastal Scents website. The packaging is a thin magnetic cardboard flip top palette that contains no mirror. You get 20 eyeshadow shades 7 matte and 13 that contain shimmer or glitter.Unlike the first Revealed palette this one seems to contain mostly berry shades.

I didn't use primer under these or any of my swatches.

I would say if you are into berry shades definitely pick this up, if you haven't gotten the first Revealed palette get it, trust me just get it! :)

Ipsy Bag: June 2014 (My first one)

I finally got on the Ipsy Glam Bag bandwagon I just couldn't resist any longer and at $10 a month it seems like a pretty good deal! This month was my first glam bag and I wanted to share what I got with you. This month's theme was "Pretty In Paradise"

Makeup bag-Rebecca Minkoff
Nicka K Shimmer Eyeliner-Blue
Ofra Eyebrow Pencil-Universal
NYX Butter Gloss-Eclair
RealTree for her perfume Perfume
Carol's Daughter Anti-breakage Styling Cream

The Nicka K shimmer eyeliner is very pretty and it lasted 6 hours. It probably would have lasted longer but I took my makeup off for the night. I'll wear it all day again soon and see how it holds up. The NYX butter gloss is very creamy and has a vanilla scent, It's a beautiful nude shade for me. Ofra isn't a brand I'm that familiar with but the shade I received was a little too light for my brows. Realtree for her has a nice scent but is very strong so a little goes a long way. I haven't yet tried the Carol's daughter anti-breakage cream but I will soon. Did you get a glam bag this month, what are your thoughts?

Foot Detox Bath

Ok so no matter how clean we may be in the summer we are going to sweat and if you love sandals like I do, sometimes foot odor can be an issue. I have never had a problem with it but in flip flops I do so after doing some research on what would help with this I came across a detox foot bath. After doing a 20 minute detox foot bath 2 times a week for a month I had zero problems with foot odor and I can wear flip flops all day every day! Hooray!!! Here's what you'll need....

1.) A foot bath or a something large enough to completely submerge your feet in.
2.) Hot water from the tap (do not boil or heat in the microwave!)
3.) Epsom salt
4.) Baking Soda
5.) Essential oil for fragrance (optional) I recommend either lavender or peppermint.

Fill your basin with hot tap water, the hotter the better. Add in 1/2 to 1 cup of epsom salt and 1/4 cup of baking soda. The water may be a little too hot at first but you want it to be warm enough to last the full 20 minutes. I get the water as hot as possible and I just stick my heels in at first and then the rest of my feet as the water cools. Either after or before you do your foot bath I recommend you use a foot scrub to help remove dead skin. There are many recipes online for them or a body scrub from Wal-Mart is what I use. Do this at least twice a week and give it 4 weeks you should start seeing good results! Keep doing your foot baths every week!

The foot bath I use it's cheap and works great!

Epsom salt and baking soda are both very cheap and can be purchased at any drugstore.
Epsom salt helps to soothe the muscles and has detoxing properties when used with hot water to help sweat out impurities. Baking soda has anti-fungal properties and leaves the skin soft.

I hope you will have the same great results as I do with this foot detox!

Sonia Kashuk Eye On Neutral Palette-Matte

Hello beauties! Sorry I haven't blogged in awhile, I have been so busy with life but today I will be talking about the Sonia Kashuk Eye on Neutral Palette in matte. I have had my eye on this palette for quite awhile debating on whether it was worth $20 or not. After reading a ton of good reviews and always wanting an all matte eyeshadow palette I finally decided to get it. I absolutely love it, the texture of a lot of matte shadows tend to be powdery and not very pigmented but these are amazing! They go on like creamy butter, even swatching them was a breeze. All 12 shades are neutral and you get a variety of colors that range from light to dark. Talk about transition shade central whoop whoop! There is also a shimmer version of this same palette available.

You can pick this palette up at target for $20.00 and if you're a matte kinda girl you NEED it. It's amazing!
